In Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Uganda, Grapes of New Hope is a refugee-led, community-based organization committed to serving with hope and dignity. One of our key program areas is Child Protection, where we create safe opportunities for children to learn, play, and simply be children.
Through a strong partnership with IsraAid Organization, Grapes of New Hope serves in Child Friendly Spaces (CFS) in Juru together with IsraAid.
The Child Friendly Space in Juru plays a vital role in children’s wellbeing. It offers a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where children can:
Feel protected and free from fear
Release stress and trauma caused by displacement
Build confidence and social skills through play
Experience joy, belonging, and a sense of normalcy
