Using the transformative power of sports to protect, educate, and empower young people, “Grapes of New Hope” is actively raising awareness against gender-based violence (GBV) among adolescents. Through structured, engaging sports activities, the organization creates safe and inclusive spaces where girls and boys can openly learn, express themselves, and build healthy relationships.
By integrating life-skills training into games, teamwork exercises, and mentorship sessions, Grapes of New Hope goes beyond play. The program promotes respect, equality, and positive masculinity while strengthening confidence, leadership skills, and resilience among young participants. Coaches and mentors are trained to facilitate conversations about consent, communication, and conflict resolution — helping adolescents recognize harmful behaviors and stand up against violence in their communities.
Through sports tournaments, peer-led discussions, and community engagement initiatives, Grapes of New Hope fosters a culture where young people feel heard, valued, and empowered to become champions of change — both on and off the field.
