Together, we advance inclusive solutions that restore hope and promote sustainable livelihoods for all

Empowering refugees and vulnerable communities to rebuild their lives with dignity, resilience, and hope

Who We Are

Grapes of New Hope (GNH) is a refugee-led, community-based organization founded in 2021 within Nakivale Refugee Settlement, Uganda. We are committed to restoring hope and transforming lives by empowering vulnerable groups youth, single mothers, children at risk, and persons with disabilities to achieve self-reliance and resilience. Rooted in compassion and inclusion, GNH envisions a community where refugees and host populations thrive together in equality and opportunity.

Through skills development, psychosocial support, advocacy, and community-driven initiatives, GNH works to address the challenges of displacement, poverty, and social exclusion. Our programs equip individuals with the knowledge, confidence, and resources to rebuild their lives and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

As a refugee-led organization, we are guided by firsthand experience and a deep understanding of the realities our people face. This perspective fuels our dedication to sustainable, locally driven solutions and meaningful partnerships with local, national, and international stakeholders. Together, we are building a world where resilience replaces despair, and hope becomes a way of life.
